Hi Everyone! I am so excited to share this Bluegrass and Bourbon 40th Birthday Party that I recently worked on.  When my sweet friend and now new neighbor asked me to help with her husband’s 40th birthday party, I was so honored and excited.  Her husband grew up in the south and she wanted to honor his southern roots while keeping the party elegant,

Parties By Bloom- Charlotte’s Mushroom Party

mushroom party

When our family went to Alaska last summer, Charlotte and I decided to see how many different colored mushroom we could find. Amazingly we found every possible color except for blue and out of that came this blue mushroom party.  Charlotte is a true girlie girl so I wanted the party to be just that- pink, glittery and pretty.  My mom helped me make the

So after a year of telling me that he was going to Chuck E. Cheese for his 7th birthday, my son Luke told me he wanted to play ball for his party.  I immediately knew this was the perfect theme for him and was more than happy to accommodate his change of heart. I have the most amazing eye candy for you this weekend.  The Little Big Company, all the way from Australia, styled the most beautiful wedding ever.  A picture may be worth a thousand words but this one actually made me speechless.  Traditional, classy and elegant.  I was so honored when Louisa from The Little Big Company contacted me (yes Bloom) to design the printables for

strawberry

Last month I helped a dear friend of mine throw a Strawberry Party for her berry sweet;) daughter. The Mom requested “simple and easy.”  I wanted it to be bright, fun and crisp. We decided to work with a preppy plaid print and color palette of lime green and pinks rather than traditional red. You know I always love using a slightly unexpected color scheme.

When I was editing my photos from my parties this past month, I realized I may not have shared my Pink and Orange Monogram 40th Birthday Party from last September with you yet.  My confusion comes from switching sites.  I wrote a draft about it on my blogspot account but this site shows it was published.  I can’t seem to find it on my blog.

Under the Stars Party- Part 3

star party

A few final details and photos from my under the star party. Activities- The girls had lots of fun with our star based games.  In shoot for the stars, they used marshmallow guns to shoot at stars hanging on a frame I made out of PVC. Each girl got 6 marshmallows and received points for hitting different sized stars. (This is the star I used

Under The Stars Party by Bloom- Part 2

star party

Whenever I am looking for a theme for my childrens’ birthdays, I really want it to reflect their personality. I styled this party for my Audrey’s 11th birthday. She brings so much sparkle to our lives and truly shines, so a star party was just the perfect theme. I wanted to keep the party as girly and sweet as possible (while she’ll still let me!),
