Top of the morning to you! Are you ready for a little St. Paddy’s day idea? I originally posted this recipe last year but the photo was killing me- it was simply horrible. Since I wanted to share them again this year, I thought I would make another batch and take a better photograph. In doing so, I was reminded of just how amazingly yummy these little treats are especially for your little leprechaun friends. I simply took my kids favorite cereal and substituted it in a traditional Rice Krispie recipe. Done in less than ten minutes and your kids will feel so lucky to have this little St. Patrick’s Day snacks.
You need
6 tablespoons margarine (works much better than butter for this recipe)
16 ounces mini marshmallows
12 cups Lucky Charms
Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment and spray with non-stick spray.
Melt margarine in a large pot over medium heat. Add marshmallow and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Add Lucky Charms. Stir quickly so that the charms don’t melt. Press into pan. Chill until set.
I feel so lucky to have you here. Make sure to subscribe to our blog on the right sidebar so you don’t miss a post.
XO,
Jenny

Yummy! Lucky Charms is one of my very favorite cereals! I could probably eat the whole pan of these myself!

I almost did:)

Why would margarine work better? I usually use butter – just curious
