Happy Friday. Did you realize that New Year’s Eve is in less than three weeks? This Confetti Party that Jo Bloom of Cake Poppin would not only make the most fabulous birthday party but is great inspiration for your New Year’s celebrations. New Year’s Eve is the PERFECT night for confetti , sparkle and sprinkles. Jo is an amazing baker. She has made me the most fabulous cake pops and she is obviously an amazing party planner as you will see from these photos. I love the bright but feminine colors, bold patterns and the backdrop behind the dessert table is stunning (and easy to replicate).
The dessert table features Jo’s signature cake pops, confetti sugar cookies, mini chocolate covered Oreos and the most fabulous cake! It is fun and elegant at the same time.
Jo writes: After months of trying to find the perfect theme for my daughters fifth birthday, she finally decided that, in true Bailey style, all she wanted was a glittery, girlie, FUN party and most importantly…NO BOYS ALLOWED! Nothing says party like confetti so we went on the hunt for all things round and sparkly! The accent colors were based on her favorite colors of teal, pink and glittery gold and I combined with that classic black and white stripe pattern that is so on trend right now.
The girls wore their favorite fancy dresses and we had an amazing face painter paint each of the girls faces with some gorgeous princess designs. We had a design your own cupcake bar with sprinkles and toppings galore and even found an incredible local vendor that helped the girls design their own chunky bling necklaces to match perfectly with their beautiful princess dresses. The necklaces served as the perfect favors and accompanied them home along with some gorgeous color coordinated gum balls.
They lunched on all of my daughters favorites: Pineapple Pizza, freckled fruit salad and pink lemonade and then enjoyed all of the beautiful treats from the fabulous dessert table filled with beautiful treats made by of course by mom and a few of our best local bakers. The centerpiece to the table was her cake which was covered with sprinkles that I hand dyed to match the colors of the party. I had a ton of incredibly talented, creative friends that helped me create the perfect birthday party for my little lady but the most important detail was that she was so, so HAPPY and I know she’ll never forget her beautiful day with her best girlfriends.
Jo is one talented lady and lucky for you she ships her delicious pops all over. Just book early. You can find Jo on her Facebook page or on Instagram.
