Bucket Lists

Hi Everyone- I am sure  you all know what a bucket list is.  I want to share the one I created with my kids this summer using some simple word art and some amazing Sharpie Clearview Highlighters that we found at Walgreens.  The Sharpie Clearview Highlighters’ bright neon colors are perfect for this summer activity.  They put you in a fun mood!

The kids and I came up with a list of activities we wanted to do over the summer.  On my computer using Word, I created an 8 x 10 print using a few different fonts.  To make the words in outline, go to :

• format
• font
• text effect button
• text fill
• color
• no fill

Make sure to choose fonts that are fat.

Once we completed each task, I let the kids fill in the letters with our Sharpie Clearview Highlighters.  Since the colors were so pretty, we kept the print in a frame on our kitchen counter all summer.  It was a good reminder of all the fun things we need to do.  We will fill in Summer once everything on our list is done.  TIP: To make the highlighting easier, leave the glass out of the frame.

A few more left. Can’t wait to finish this Labor Day weekend. The kids actually loved this so much, they want to do one for fall!
