Monster Cookie Jars
Hi Everyone. Today we have the cutest little hostess gift idea for you for Halloween- Monster Cookie Jars. I have loved this little monster since I created him for our Monster Milk Bar post last year so I’ve been thinking of lots of things to use him on. These Monster Cookie Jars will be a huge treat for anyone on Halloween.
Monster Cookies are one of my favorites and these jar make the perfect gift to give someone for Halloween. These scary treats can be put together in just a few minutes. Just make an assembly line and fill jars for neighbors, hostesses, teachers and friends and then attach our free label.
Layer the following ingredients in the order written. I used parchment paper to make a funnel to make filling the jars cleaner and easier.
- 1 1 /3 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup M & M’s- I only used the green and brown M&M’s from the bag but use can use all or any color you like.
Screw on cap and attach label and add a bow for a girl monster. Print our FREE DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE HERE on legal 8.5×14 paper and attach with double sided tape.
