Friday Feature- Our Little Pumpkin Party

DSC_4638

Happy Fall Y’all.  I am totally in love with this Our Little Pumpkin Party styled by Alexis and Jennifer of  The Pear Events.  You know how much I love styling parties around terms of endearment (apple of our eye, my only sunshine) and the our little pumpkin theme is just perfect for fall.  The Pear Events used an amazing color palate of navy (genius), browns and orange combined with preppy argyle and houndstooth patterns to keep this party stylish and fresh.

Jenn writes:
Our Little Pumpkin turned two!  Being that we referred to him as our pumpkin since we learned he was coming, it was only appropriate to have his birthday party at a Pumpkin Patch. We brought Argyle and Houndstooth touches to the pumpkin patch for a boys pumpkin painting party!  A windy Fall day let us know that Winter weather was coming to South Florida and the wind made for quick improvising on décor. The kids all came ready to paint.

They kids picked out their pumpkin from the Pumpkin Picking Station and went to town painting their pumpkin with their custom painting pallet.  They brought their pumpkins to the Drying Station and enjoyed lunch served in apple baskets.  Tea Sandwiches, Pumpkin Bread and Martinelli Apple Juice filled their bellies and got them ready to run around the patch taking pictures at the different picture stations.
After the photo op’s, they enjoyed sweet treats such as Mini Caramel Crab-Apples, Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread, Chocolate Covered Oreo’s topped with 3D Scarecrows and Pumpkins, Push-Up Pops filled with Pumpkin Spiced Donuts, Chocolate Donuts and Glazed Donuts, Almond Owl Cookies, Cheesecake Cake-Pops, Vanilla Cake-Pops, Vanilla & Chocolate Cupcakes topped with Edible Sunflowers and Edible Hay Bales, Acorns and Leaves and Jack-o-lantern Parisian Macaron’s with a chocolate filling.   Each child used their apple baskets to hold their pumpkin favors, personalized cookie favors, fall drinking cup favors and sweet treats as they went home ready for naptime.
