Happy Friday- What’s in Bloom?

Happy Friday everyone. Isn’t this cake amazing?!?!  Do you recognize it?  A few weeks back, Fairly Odd Mother from Once Upon a Pedestal emailed me to see if she could use my I Love You Alphabet as inspiration for a cake she was making.  I was honored of course and asked her to send me a photo.  I was just absolutely stunned when I saw

For her daughter’s sixth birthday, Alex put a twist

Super Inspiration- Touchdown Time

Harriet, a sweet reader, sent me an email asking for some game day ideas.  To be honest, since we always attend a party a friend’s house each Super Bowl, I hadn’t even thought about it. If I were doing a party, this is a game day I would LOVE to host.  Since both teams are red, white, and blue, you must go with the good

Make It Monday- Groundhog Cupcakes

I am so happy to finally put up a Make It Monday baking post.  When I first started the Make It Monday series, my original plan was that it would my time to share great party recipes.  I am actually much more a of baker than crafter, so it has always been a bit odd to me that I haven’t shared any baking ideas.  This

Happy Friday- S.W.A.K.

Recently, my kiddos invited some friends over for a mini Valentine’s Day party.  My theme this year was S.W.A.K (Sealed With A Kiss).  When they arrived, the kids all received personalized lunch boxes filled with card making supplies and they spent their afternoon creating wonderful, handmade letters for their loved ones.  I just love pink so there is no way I am spending Valentine’s without

Make It Monday- S’more Kisses

I found these adorable HeartMallows at Target and just had to use them.  If you’ve been reading my blog, you know how much I like using marshmallows for my dessert tables and for seasonal decoration.  These are perfect for so many Valentine’s projects, but really, who doesn’t love s’mores? If you would like the labels sent to you: 1.  Follow Bloom Designs on Pinterest or follow my blog

Happy Friday- Pinterest Love

The past 24 hours have been amazing for Bloom.  If I wasn’t so overwhelmed, grateful and completely humbled by all the interest, I would be floating on air! Yesterday, our blog received 3,500 hits from Pinterest and my Blow Me A Kiss idea has been pinned and repinned over 2,600 times.  I was also given the chance to write a guest blog post next month on
