Hi Everyone!  I hope you all are enjoying your summer.  At my house everyday feels like a celebration.   I just love this time of year.  Don’t you agree?  For me, the best party of summer has to be the Fourth of July.  What better reason to celebrate than to honor our country!  It is so easy to add some festive details to any party by simply adding some red, white and blue.  Your celebration should be about relaxing and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.  By adding just a few patriotic touches you can give the holiday the honor it deserves.  Here are some of my favorite Fourth Of July Projects and Printables….

Hi Everyone!  Now more than ever, it seems like an appropriate time to celebrate America and all the things that make us a great country.  I really feel like this year more than ever we need to show how proud we are of our country.  These Patriotic Ice Cream Sundae Printables are a great way to add a festive touch to your celebration.  It is all prepped ahead of time so you won’t miss out on any celebration time.  Ice cream sundaes are definitely an all american summer dessert and these printable will make it just a bit more festive. Kids and adults always have so much fun creating their own delicious desserts.

To make this sundae bar you will need:

• ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cookies n cream),
• chocolate and caramel sauce
• whipped cream
• jimmies, sprinkles, crushed chocolate chip cookies
• sliced strawberries
• blueberries

Before the party

• Scoop ice cream into individual containers. Mason jars or paper containers work great
• Put the ice cream labels on the top of each container
• Put the sauces in squeeze bottles.  You can find these at many grocery or big box stores.
• Assemble the toppings on a tray for a neat presentation

When it is time for dessert, simply pull the ice cream out of the freezer.

Donut You Forget About Me

Hi Everyone!  Today we are sharing these Donut You Forget About Me gifts for summertime.  Can you name the movie they were inspired by?  One of my all-time favorites.  This movie reminds me of high school and next week my oldest baby will be graduating from 8th grade and will be a freshman next year.  It is almost impossible to believe. I’m so proud of her.

You can use these little treats for end of school gifts, moving away or just because.  I wrapped my tags with donuts but by all means you can also use them on other gifts.  To download the free cards, click here.  We recommend printing on bright white 8.5 x 11 inch card stock.  Cut cards to size and attach to your gift.  Of course if you choose to use donuts, any flavor, shape, full sized or mini, store bought or homemade works.  Pick what works best for you.

Hey Everyone!  Happy Friday.  Today we are sharing this easy “Thanks A Bunch Gift with free tags. I feel like we are approaching the time of year where everyone deserves a little gift- your momma, you children’s teachers (teacher appreciation day is in April) and anyone else who you will be leaving for summer.  Luckily it is the perfect time of year to give flowers.  Everyone appreciates getting a bunch of these little beauties.  Whether they are bought from the grocery store and repackaged, picked from your garden or purchased from a florist, flower are always an appropriate gesture.

To down load our free Thanks A Bunch tags, click here.  We recommend printing on bright white card stock.  Cut out with scissors and punch a hole.  Wrap flowers with a pretty coordinating ribbon or stick on a mason jar and add our tag.  HINT: there is a small space at the bottom to sign your name if you like or write a short personal note on the back.

These Ranunculus are one of my favorite flowers and so easy to grow in your own garden but I’d happily receive any;) Have a super weekend.

HI Everyone!  In case you loved the sentiment on our reindeer tags from yesterday but don’t have the energy for one more project or DIY, I’ve got you covered.  These For You My Deer Tags in black and white are perfect for anyone in your life and would work with lots of different wrappings.  This year I am all about black and white for Christmas.  My Christmas cards are completely black and white; same with my wrapping and lots of my decor.  With all of the color in the fresh greenery , ornaments, santas, etc., I find that the black and white just grounds and simplifies the design a bit and you know me- I’m all about simple, clean and crisp. Of course, color can be fabulous and these tags work with that as well.

To make your tags, print out our free download below. Use an ink pad to make the head of the reindeer with your or your child’s thumb print. I used a gold ink pad but you can certainly use light brown. Draw in antlers with a fine brown maker. Add eyes and a red nose. Don’t be worried about perfection- every tag should and will be different.

Hey Everyone!  Are you ready for Christmas season?!?!  Without a doubt, one of my two favorite traditions was doing an advent calendar every year (decorating cookies is the other).  My Advent Calendar was a felt banner with a Christmas tree that I  pinned on ornaments.  I still remember how I planned, replanned and strategized the BEST way to fill in the calendar each year. I wanted it to look just perfect.

My kids love this tradition also!  With four kids though,  I had to come up with a few ways to countdown to Christmas so I put together these two Advent Calendar Posters.  Bigger is always better when it comes to Christmas, right:) You can print these posters for a few dollars at your local printers.  I think it would be so fun for a toddler to have a life size calendar!

Just color in one number or picture a day starting December 1.

To print our free advent calendar posters, click here and choose either advent calendar numbers or advent calendar icons. Forward the download to your local printer.  Have it printed as a 24″x36″ engineering blueprint (you can do this at any copy place or office supply store) and it only cost about $3. This is a much less expensive way to make a huge black and white print than having a poster made.
