Sprinkled with Love

Hi Everyone! I love this little love phrase, Sprinkled With Love. It totally put me on a sprinkles kick.  There are so many ways that you can use sprinkles for Valentine’s Day but my favorite way is with donuts. I’ve told you before but donuts are my breakfast of choice a few items a week. I really can’t think of any treat that I like more. They are also inexpensive so they make yummy little gifts for all of your valentines. You can buy the donuts, make homemade or do what I did: buy plain cake donuts and frost them yourself.  I made a simple icing out of powdered sugar and just enough water to get the right consistency. By frosting them yourself, you can choose the sprinkles you like.  I decided to use confetti sprinkles and red and pink heart sprinkles.

Wrap one regular sized donut in a cellophane bag or give a few mini ones.

Or, just stick a little flag in them and serve as is to your Valentine.
