I just read your post and can totally relate to you! It is amazing that somebody else has just about my life story minus the twins and location ;)… but my big sis does live in Cali (she’s a publicist in Santa Monica). We also moved from a very new, modern house (in the suburbs) out to the country into a complete fixer upper… including a roof leak over my pillow and a questionable septic system esp when it rains… and why did we move… well first and foremost my husband’s line of work… and second, it is simply the neatest place to raise our 3 kiddos 4,7,&9. Our home is a work in progress but worth it. I think it sparks my creativity daily. Thank you for sharing this post! I am also a blogger(Piggy In Polka Dots) but from a reader’s perspective I think we wonder about the person behind the blog. I enjoyed your post and hilariously can totally relate! It was very refreshing! Thanks you!
