These Easy DIY Fruit Plates by Bloom Designs are a super simple way to dress up a party using basic paper plates.
Hi Everyone! Today we are sharing a super simple way to dress up a party using basic paper plates. These Easy DIY Fruit Plates are perfect for a fiesta, feeling fruity party or watermelon party but you can really do something creative to a paper plate to fit any party theme. Use the birthday girl’s or boy’s age and add a number to a plate or the first initial of their name or a silhouette that fits the party theme. I usually add something to our plate at each party I host. It’s just a nice easy personal touch.
To make the plates, you need adhesive vinyl, paper plates and a Circuit or Silhouette Machine. Don’t have one of these amazing machines? (You should get one) No worries. You can use a paper punch or simple trace and hand cut your image. It will just take a little bit more time and effort on your part.
Open the Silhouette or Circuit program on your computer. Upload the image you want cut. Duplicate the image so you can cut multiples at once. Cut the image on the color vinyl of your choice. Peel and stick to your plates.
For these fruit plates, I used a simple tear drop shape to represent seeds. I have lots of images in my easy store that you can buy already done (seeds, giraffes, poodles, rattles, horses). Hop on over and take a look.
XO,
Jenny
