Groundhog Day Cupcakes by Bloom Designs
Truth be told- I shared these cupcake several year ago. Since then, I’ve really developed my photography skills and have better defined my vision of Bloom. I never want to pin or share the Groundhog Day Cupcakes from my first post because it no longer represents my company but I think this little guy deserve notice. So…I decided to share again with new photos. Aren’t these cute? Yes, that is a Teddy Graham and not a groundhog but they are an easy stand-in and I’m not sure my kiddos really know the difference. (I don’t:)) We don’t necessarily celebrate Groundhog Day in our house but I try to add a bit of fun and whimsy to our daily routine whenever possible. I think those are the times kids look back on and remember. This “recipe” is quick and easy- you can even use all store bought items. They’re the perfect way to mark Groundhog Day.
- any kind of cupcake
- your favorite frosting
- green food dye
- green sprinkles
- Teddy Grahams
- Frost cupcakes and then add green sprinkles leaving the center open
- Smash a handful of the Teddy Grahams to make dirt and then sprinkle it in the center of the cupcake.
- Stick in your little groundhog (teddy bear). You may need to add more dirt around him.
