Hi Everyone! Today we are closing out our Christmas post with a Wintry Snowflake Party styled by Bethany Farrar of Sweet Georgia Sweet. You may recognize the name Sweet Georgia Sweet. Bethany makes tons of beautiful wreaths for lots of party gals. I used one at my Modern Safari Party. Make sure to check out her store- it’s amazing. Bethany is also a great party stylist. I love the peaceful beauty, rich colors, all of the beautiful dessert and gorgeous styling of those party. It is the perfect way to wrap up our Christmas posts.
Bethany wrote: Nothing quite puts me in the Christmas Spirit like a festive holiday party. I recently threw a Wintry Snowflake Party for a group of my girlfriends, and I am excited to share the details with you.
When I started planning, I continued to gravitate towards all things wintry and the color silver. I decided to add in a snowflake element as well. Since the party was held outdoors, we were able to use the beauty of nature as a part of our celebration. Dark green over sized fir trees served as a gorgeous backdrop, and as a last minute decision, I added some inexpensive snowflake ornaments and nestled them right into the branches of the fir trees.
Each of my girlfriends brought a savory snack and I provided all of the desserts. From the two-tiered quatrefoil cake to the intricately designed snowflake cake pops and even down to those snowflake cookie towers, the desserts were a hit! I served White Christmas martinis and dressed them up with some silver tipped rock candy. My friends loved it!
For the dining tables, I wanted to decorate using crisp colors and glitzy sparkle. I simply had to add in a traditional Southern flair by monogramming my linen napkins. Each place setting included a silver snowflake place card holder which doubled as an ornament. These made the perfect take home gift for my friends. To add a personal touch, I incorporated our Christmas cards right into the table setting. it was such a personal and sweet way to usher in the joy of this festive season.
