My Laundry Method

Everyone- I wanted to share a few before photos of my laundry room with you.  Now that all the construction and finishes are done, I am starting to decorate (the fun part).  With four kids in my house, laundry is anything but pretty and believe it doesn’t always smell that great either.

Since I spend so much time in the laundry room (which also has my computer in it), I really put a lot of thought into the layout and design.  When I was picking the finishes, I really wanted to make sure the room itself felt  pretty.  This is the first wall I have done.  I started with the most important element of a laundry room- the detergent.

I have and alway will use method.  It’s naturally derived cleaning power is proven to remove tough dirt + stains and method keeps colors bright + whites white.  I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve pretreated those stains on Luke’s baseball pants with method.  Also, I am in love with the beautiful easy to grip bottle and bright pop of color method gives to my laundry room.  It’s the perfect design element- functional and pretty.  Method comes in some fun colors and fragrance sure to match any decor.  My favorite is this beach sage.  No more hiding those ugly detergent boxes.  Simply set your method on a tray and add some fresh flowers. Laundry is not such a chore anymore.
