Peanut Butter Fudge Krispie Sundae

I am always on the look out for a delicious afternoon pick me up that’s easy to make. Some day, I just need a treat to get me through carpool. I dreamed up these Peanut Butter Fudge Krispies Sundaes using my favorite flavors along with ready made Rice Krispies Treats.

Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 box Rice Krispies Treats
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
¼ cup hot water
1 cup M&M Plain, Toffee Bits or other candies for dipping
vanilla ice cream

Directions

In a small pot over low heat, melt butter. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until melted. Then add peanut butter and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate. Add hot water as necessary to loosen sauce.

Remove Rice Krispies Treats from wrapper and dip top half of the treat into the sauce and then dip into the toffee, M&Ms or other favorite candy. Set aside until you are ready to make sundaes.

When you need a pick me up, top each bar with vanilla ice cream.

Bars can also be enjoyed as is! I make these for my kiddos all the time…
