Hi Everyone! I am so excited to share my Holly Jolly Christmas Party with you. Every year, my family does a party on the last day of school for all of our elementary friends. Everyone comes in pajamas and we snuggle up and watch a holiday movie. What better thing to celebrate than school getting out for Christmas! Everyone is always in a good mood. This year, I am obsessed with green. Red has taken the back seat around our house! I choose a mint, forest green and pink color scheme and used three little tree silhouettes on all of the printables.
The guest were welcomed with a holly jolly balloon banner hanging over our front door. SInce my house was already decorated for Christmas the other decor was minimal.
I set up three stations in my kitchen. With four kids, the last week of school is alway crazy, so I choose things that could be done in advanced for the most part.
The dessert station had a family favorite- honey cinnamon cake as the focal point. I made the trees on the cake using ice cream cones, white chocolate and colored sugar to resemble the printables. The stars were punched out of pink fondant, We also had yule logs (cannoli), egg nog cupcakes, the most beautiful sugar cookies made by Flourish Sweet Shop, macarons, snow-nuts. (I had my local donut store make the mini donuts for me but I had taken them sprinkles that matched our party). A simple holly jolly sign hung behind the counter.
The Merry Milk station had all the fixing for hot chocolate. I always used some mini milk jugs filled with iced cold milk to go with cookies.
The Christmas Cookie Station had everything the kids needed to make cookie. I loved that the older boys were the first to dive into this activity.
Dinner? Pizza!
All of the printables, invitations, backdrop, door sign, holly jolly balloons, milk containers, and straws can be found in my shop. Make sure to pin this so you can host a Holly Jolly Party next year!
XO,
Jenny

Hope you had a great Christmas Katie! I think the pink makes it look a bit softer/prettier. Nice to change things up a bit
