Easy Halloween Dessert Table

Hi Everyone! Black and white are my two favorite colors for Halloween. I love the contrast between such an elegant color scheme and all the spooky, gory Halloween decor.  With four kids getting dressed in costumes, Halloween is crazy around my house!  I don’t have lots of extra time to set up a party.  When I was putting this table together, I kept my focus on easy treats and a simple set up.  I was able to get everything done start to finish in just under an hour with the help of a few store-bought goodies.  As always, it’s all about repacking and presentation.

I started with some cute food labels and cupcake toppers that I designed for I Heart Nap Time ,found here, and my Trick or Treat Something Sweet Sign that is available here. Behind the dessert table was tissue paper tassels which you can make or purchase here.

I made my bones by dipping pretzel stick in melted white chocolate and rolling them in nonpareilles . Large plastic spiders that I found at the dollar store fit perfectly on top of our simple spider cider (white chocolate milk) glasses. Powdered donuts hole (spider eggs), popcorn and store-bought cupcakes popped into festive black and white baking cups.

Using instant chocolate pudding , Cool Whip and plastic spider, I made these Poison Puddings.  Mix pudding according to package direction and then put both the pudding and the Cool Whip into individual piping bags.  Layer into glass jars.  They were the first thing my kids ate. They always go batty for pudding.

Fun new items coming to Bloom tomorrow!

XO,

Jenny
