Operation Shower- Surf’s Up

IMG_0811

Happy Friday all!  I have spent the last two day down in San Deigo working on Operation Shower’s Surf’s Up Baby Shower. Operation Shower is a fabulous charity that celebrates military moms-to-be.  Pepsi sponsored this shower and I was so honored to be a part of it.  My friend Abigail from Paper and Cake created all the printables around the Surf’s Up theme.  Do you remember my preppy surf party that I did this summer.  It was so fun working with the same theme but in a very different color scheme and with someone else’s graphics. For this shower, ten party stylists each used Paper and Cake’s printables to create their own tablescape. I loved seeing how each of the designers took the theme but made it their own.  This was mine…

I used crab cake pops again by Cake Poppin.  I am so in love with these little guys.

The dessert table was styled by Marie of Sweets Indeed.  Tania Fischer of Tania Fischer Events created the most beautiful back drop of paper flowers.  I can’t even begin to tell you how beautiful it was.  It made such a dramatic statement.

Absolutely incredible work. What an amazing, talented group of people. My favorite parts were your Baby on Board wooden sign, the stuffed baby booties(so cute!), and the VW vans (I lhave a thing for VW vans). What really makes this event extraordinary is that it gives something special to people who sacrifice so much for our country. So glad you went! :)

Oh my gosh, Jenny, this is incredible! I LOVE this theme for a shower, too, it’s SO fun! This would be perfect for so many of the military spouses stationed out here in Hawaii. Everything about this is fantastic, but I especially love your wooden signs, and then the little surf boards on the back of the chairs with “Born to Surf.” SO creative and cute! Fabulous job!
