Happy Monday everyone! Hope you are enjoying the holidays. These easy white chocolate peppermint parfaits will surely but you a festive spirit. The white chocolate and peppermint flavors are a great holiday combination. These are extremely easy to make and will hold nicely, so you can make them well in advance. This recipe is also so versitle and can work with any party color scheme or theme. Layer the mousse with whatever you dream up. The mousse has a delicate chocolate flavor so it won’t overwhelm your layers. If you want a stronger chocolate flavor add up to 2 cup total white chocolate chips. Make sure to pin this recipe for future reference.
You need
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- crushed candy canes
In a microwave proof bowl, heat whipping cream until steaming, about 2 minutes. Pour in white chocolate chips. Let sit for a few minutes and then whisk until smooth.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until completely chilled.
Pour mix into the bowl of a standing mixer fitted with the whisk attachment and mix on medium high. When soft peaks form, add powdered sugar. Continue whisking until medium to stiff peaks form.
Put mousse into piping bags. Begin layering the white chocolate mousse and candy cane pieces starting and ending with the mousse.
I added a little holiday greeting to each of my individual treats. You know that I think everything looks a bit more special with a printable:).
