This party was for my daughter’s first birthday. I decided to base the theme around little mary jane shoes. I really want to keep it a simple but feel girly as well. I wanted to include some personal touches to capture her milestones. I created a collage of photos from each month of her first year. I placed each photo onto a pink doily and placed the photos onto a board covered in black swiss dot fabric. I wrote a poem that captured my feelings about the joy she has brought to our lives this first year. Along with the poem, I also framed a silhouette of her. Her first pair of mary jane shoes were placed on the table as well.
