Make It Monday- Chocolate Banana Nut Smoothie

chocolate banana smoothie

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to be back from my vacation and blogging any on our regular schedule.  While I was off my kids and I had a blast making a bunch of smoothies.  This was by far our favorite. My Chocolate Banana Nut Smoothie was inspired by a shake I would get at a local yogurt shop when I was in high school.  I made it a wee bit healthier by using soy milk and chocolate yogurt rather than ice cream.  My kids love it.  BEST OF ALL – come back later today and you can actually win the machine that I used to make it!  GEt way to celebrate my return to Bloom!

Great idea! My favorite involves freezing leftover coffee in an old ice cube tray. I add the frozen cubes, skim milk, and a scoop of hot chocolate mix. My frozen latte is lower in fat than the McD’s version and not as costly as Starbuck’s. (Great way to use leftover coffee.)

We love smoothies, any variety. And I love sneaking veggies in. My kids love anything berry variety for summer. I’m the choc/PB fanatic!!
