Make It Monday- Valentine’s Party and Printables

Love is definitely sweet.  I recently created this Valentine’s table for a little neighborhood celebration.  The light pink, pink and orange color scheme was inspired by ice cream flavored conversation hearts that I found at Target.  I immediately knew it would be a fun, fresh take for Valentine’s day.

The dots on the printables are echoed on the dessert table.  The kids snacked on cakes pops, ombre cupcakes and orange sherbet served in polka dot baking cups, and cookie stacks.  Two big pink balloons anchored the ends of each table and the centerpiece was a two tiered cake decorated with heart toppers in the party colors. While I haven’t been seeing a lot of it on dessert tables lately, what is Valentine’s day without candy. Gum balls, Sixlets, rock candy stick, marshmallows, taffy and the star of the party- ice cream flavored conversation heart filled out the table.

Look at this party for inspiration.  Even if you aren’t hosting a celebration, there are a lot of little ideas that you can borrow to make someone’s day a little sweeter.

Are you having a celebration this Valentine’s day?  All the printables from this party are available for free.  Visit my post on Lil Luna by clicking here to access them!  Lots of thanks to Kristyn of Lil Luna for first letting me share this on her site.

XO,

Jenny

Hi Jenny – would there be any way you could email me the printables as a pdf file? They are posted as a jpeg on Lil Luna and are not printing clearly. Thanks so much – I just love this party and can’t wait to attempt to try these!!! Incredible party, as usual! katiejcorlin@gmail.com
