For all of you parents counting the days until your kids go back to school, why not celebrate by hosting a back to school party for adults. I hosted one last year for our Juniors group and just loved the idea. On the menu were items that were typically for children but dressed up for an older crowd:
Turkey roll ups (turkey wraps)
Cheese and crackers (cheese platter)
Pudding cups (pot de creme)
Peanut butter and Jelly Bars (recipe coming on a Make It Monday)
Hostess Cupcakes (from a delicious bakery)
Jello Cups (Jell-O Shots)
and Appletinis to wash it all down.
It was a fun play on typical after school snacks. There was even a guessing jar. Forgive the photos- the lighting was horrible.
XO,
Jenny
